We contracted with most Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and now Sentara plans, but not all.  It's important to understand that even though I am contracted with these major insurance companies, there are some specific plans within those companies that I am not in-network with.  For example, I am in network with most Cigna plans but I am NOT in-network with Cigna's Connect Plans, Local Plus, HMO Connect, and Cigna Surefit plans. While I am contracted with most Anthem and Aetna plans, there are a few unique versions of Anthem and Aetna plans that I am NOT contracted. 

 

Therefore, it is your responsibility to verify with your insurance plan that I am in-network. If your plan considers me out-of-network, you will be responsible for the full cost of the visit. I will provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

For those who are out of network, I do supply a Super bill that you can file with your insurance for possible reimbursement. Those plans would operate as a cash based practice.
