Addiction Services
Addiction and substance abuse can have lifelong repercussions on a person’s physical and emotional health, take away the ability to successfully navigate peer, personal and family relationships and cause poor performance at school, work and life in the community.
For more than 30 years, The Adolescent and Family Health Center has provided outpatient substance abuse treatment and wilderness therapy options to children, adolescents, adults and families. Our medical Director, George M. Bright, M.D., diagnoses and coordinates the medical treatment and interventions of children, adolescents, and adults who seek our help.
In addition to medical treating addiction and substance abuse, AFHC utilizes its comprehensive treatment team to identify the root causes that trigger negative or addictive behaviors, and help each patient recognize their own specific assets and strengths to help them successfully navigate their addiction and their life.
